Very Future Thinking...

Do you have a wild idea for CDS? Post it here!

Image Update Notifications

Eventually when we have users, we should let them know when new images drop.
Think: Slack/email hook when the build workflow pushes to Docker Hub. Users can then cds pull-updates when they're ready.

Simple CLI for subscribing:

cds notifications subscribe --email [user@example.com](mailto:user@example.com)
cds notifications subscribe --slack
cds pull-updates # grab latest images

Avoids auto-upgrading (breaks immutability), keeps users in control. Store subscriptions in a JSON file or secrets for now.

What about generic webhooks? So that the users can integrate it via Discord, Teams or other custom tools.

Slow and steady, bit by bit. I believe we don't want it to be overengineered.
