Hi! First of all, thanks for building this — I set it up on my homelab to track shared household expenses with my partner and it's been really useful. A few things I noticed are missing that I think would make it even better. The first one is language selection. Right now the locale is set once via the LOCALE environment variable when the container starts, so it applies to every user the same way. It would be great to have this as a per-user setting instead, picked from the UI. I noticed there's already a theme preference service handling light/dark mode per user, so a language preference could probably follow the same pattern rather than needing a big architectural change. The second thing is filtering what shows up in the calendar. I have several calendars and categories, and everything gets mixed together with no way to isolate them. Something like the calendar toggles in Google Calendar would be perfect — being able to temporarily hide a specific calendar or category so I can focus on just what I need to see, without deleting or archiving anything. This would also help a lot when sharing a calendar with someone else, since each person could choose to view just their own expenses, just the other person's, or both combined. Beyond those two, a few other features that would be genuinely useful: being able to attach a photo or PDF of the receipt to an expense, reminders or notifications before a recurring bill is due, budget limits per category with a warning when you go over, and support for multiple currencies instead of one fixed currency for the whole instance. On a related note, I saw the statement import already supports Revolut, OFX and ISO20022, which is great — it would be nice to have the reverse too, exporting expenses to CSV/Excel. Happy to test any of these once they're in a dev build if that helps. Thanks again for the project! |
