incompatible libraries in conda.yml environment ?

Hi ,

I couldn't create the environment from the conda.yml file. It couldn't find compatible versions of different packages. Wondering if anyone else has tried it?
Also tried it without specifying the version numbers but get this hpy5/netcdf compatibility issue "RuntimeError: Unspecified error in H5DSget_num_scales (return value <0)"

Any help is appreciated!

Thank you for reaching out about this. Can you please provide the logs from your attempt to create the conda environment?

I just created a new virtual machine, installed a fresh copy of miniconda, cloned the repo, and was able to create the environment in the ~/flood-forecasting/environments/conda.yml file. It might be helpful to see what error you are running into.

Still, for macOS, one needs to comment out the NVIDIA channel line and the three CUDA-specific lines. I guess for smaller test runs, that should be okay.
