Use SDCard instead of FLASHchip on the Speedybee F7 V2
#7895
I am busy now with stabilizing video footage and i need the logfile from the blackbox with gyrodata. So i made 1 flight of 5 minutes total (i erased the flashchip before that flight so it was empty.
Then i went home and saved the flash log file to my desktop. But... it didnt worked, i think because the 16mb onboard flashchip was totally FULL . Now i really want to get the data but 16mb is not much. So now my question:
Is it possible to simply replace the onboard flashchip with an SDCARD slot?
The hardware connections will be no problem, i can do that...
But, before desolder the flashchip from the board i like to know if it will gonna work without this: (because i cannot do that i think)
Now it’s time to play with betaflight settings, you need to go to CLI and type dump. Then you need to find out pin number and SPI bus number which was used to talk to the flash chip.
It would be something like this:
resource FLASH_CS 1 B03
set flash_spi_bus = 3
It means that pin B03 and SPI bus 3 should be use to communicate with our new just soldered sd card. First you need free the resources (chip select pin and SPI bus).
resource FLASH_CS NONE
set flash_spi_bus = 0
Now assign them to be use by the SD card.
resource SDCARD_CS 1 B03
set sdcard_spi_bus = 3
And let the FC know, to use SPI to talk to SD card, use DMA, and store black box to SD card just after powering up the FC.
resource SDCARD_DETECT none
set sdcard_mode = SPI
set sdcard_dma = ON
set blackbox_device = SDCARD
set blackbox_mode = ALWAYS
save
Now you should disconnect the board connect again go to CLI and type status. You should see that SD is detected and filesystem is ready.

I have found ths website: https://qczek.beyondrc.com/how-to-add-sd-card-to-your-old-flight-controller/

Filesystem: Ready
I also did it with a Runcam 5 Orange and used the gyrodata of the runcam itself, no issues.
I hope someone can help me with this, tnx!
