Fedora 28 missing library

Under Fedora 28 compiling nexus with options (HDF4, HDF5, MXML all enabled) fails due to a missing library (libtirpc).
I needed to add it manually in code/src/CMakeLists.txt

Is this still relevant? We are now on fedora 33
