Feedback Bridge 1.0 Release

Creating this to keep all the v1.0 feedback in one place and spawn off issues/bugs to track changes if needed.

MacOS - Using the right click drop down menus, they align at the centre point of the menu item, so if you slide your mouse across and aren't in the top 50%, the place you're moving your mouse to disappears.

Also, the right-click menu, the overflow gets cut off by the edge of the window rather than adjusting itself to not be cut off.
I would limit rendering to the top of the screen and nudge the whole sub-menu down to fit. If it still overflows the top and bottom of the window pane, make the sub-menu scrollable.

Right click - Add Widget, should pop up the "Change Widget" menu so you can pick the widget without having to right click the newly added box.

Adding a widget doesn't put the widget in the grid square you right clicked in.

One other UI interaction that might work for the Adding a widget would be clicking either left or right and dragging a box in the grid the size that you'd like the widget to be.

The aim of these suggestions is Reducing unnecessary user clicks and interactions.

"Time Display" - the drop-down takes up a significant portion of the widget for something that is probably not going to be changed regularly. I would move this behind a right-click menu/widget options/config.
Moving the current setting to a very small subtitle might be an improvement.

"Timeline"
Add a right-click option to both timeline sections (In Rundown and Timeline Widget) for "Add to Timeline"
Add the ability in the Timeline Widget to vertically drag to rearrange the items.
Timeline should have the same/similar right-click options as the Rundown for Disable, Play, Stop, Copy Paste etc.

The visual representation of the current position of playback does a sort of slide left before proce

Ability to drag a playhead through the Timeline, if you'd like to skip through some testing/rehearsals.
Timeline duration should be dynamic to the length of the sub-items within it.

Double-clicking on the Zoom Slider to reset to 100% zoom factor would be very handy.

There's currently no API for skimming this way in Caspar, however I'll add it to the backlog to hopefully find a solution in the future.

Even just being able to move the Timeline playhead to the beginning of, say, Cue3 and resuming a run, saves reliving too much of the timeline over and over.

In the Timeline if a Cue has a duration of X you can't drag the length of the item in the timeline to make it longer. This is understandable for items like audio/video content that have limited durations. but things like HTML and Images, duration could be infinite.

Suggestion: If there is only 1 Timeline in the Rundown, default the Timeline viewer to that timeline, you can change to "Follow Selection" but behaviour is currently inconsistent if you change "Pages/Tabs" and go back.

"Rundown"
Dragging and dropping an item into the last place on a timeline is incredibly difficult
The hitbox size and location need adjustment; positioning above/below appears to be biased to adding the item above the current last item.
There isn't a visual line indicator for the last position of a Timeline/Group. to nitpick, the visual indicator line is attached to the item rather than being between the two items.

"Group"
Nice to have:
Playmodes, the Start Random and Playlist modes give audio engineers great flexibility for triggering Award Stings and Song Tracklists for background music.

MacOS Specifics
The standard for closing unsaved/edited work is to put a dot in the red traffic light, as a visual indication.
Cmd+Q and Cmd+W for Quit and Close Window currently don't work.
Closing the Window also closes the application. Maybe add the option to run Bridge as a "server" / "client" model, so closing the window doesn't kill the instance.

Can you elaborate on CMD+Q and CMD+W not working? I've not encountered any issues with them.

I'll go back and read some of the open issues :D sorry.

CMD+Q and CMD+W only work if a Widget is focused not if you click on the Window title bar, makes things a little inconsistent.

Server/Client Model
If the Bridge Window gets closed, all the "Shared" instances on Webpages also get cut off, but there is no visual indication to the Shared instance user that the connection has failed. If the connection drops, show a pop-up with a "Message Connection to Bridge Host has been lost." Reload Page

Allow Remote users to save the running config via the WebUI to their local machine as "backup"
