(for the latest kernel) CONFIG_RTW89_8852BTE is not set #62367

Description

@seyfosifirbes

Is this a new report?

No

System Info

Linux void 7.X

Package(s) Affected

linux

Does a report exist for this bug with the project's home (upstream) and/or another distro?

Ubuntu and Arch works fine.

Expected behaviour

Wi-Fi / Bluetooth working.

Actual behaviour

No Bluetooth, nor Wi-Fi, on usage of "ip link" the device is not to be seen. Also, the void-installer doesn't seem to work too, because of the problem itself.

Steps to reproduce

On a HP Victus 15 B82wjea; upon debugging, it seems that the required CONFIG_RTW89_8852BTE is not set, which the Realtek RTL8852BE-VT Wi-Fi adapter requires.

!!!The 6.18 kernel has been fixed!!!, but the latest mainline kernel, and the x86 glibc ISOs don't have a patch yet, making the installation impossible without external hardware.
