Temp folder usage or not

Very simple question... does Notepad4 or its dependencies use a temp folder for anything document-wise / in any scenario? Obviously a question of interest for the security-conscious.

As am aware, no folder usage at all, except for auto-save, which may save file to %LocalAppData%\Notepad4:
