… port Phase 0's second script. Reads the serial port, sends each whole line ($…*hh and Unicore #…*crc, with its CR LF) as one datagram to the app's GPS port as soon as it is complete, and writes every datagram that arrives on UDP 2233 (the forwarded RTCM) to the port unchanged: the bridge contract in Docs/GPS_RECEIVERS.md. Binary bytes between lines are dropped and counted. pyserial is its one dependency. For contributors with a Septentrio or other receiver on a laptop: run it beside nmea-capture.py and send the capture. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5.1 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Phase 0's second script (
Plans/GPS_RECEIVER_SENTENCES_PLAN.md): the reference implementation of the bridge contract, for a bench or a contributor's laptop with a receiver on a USB port and no AiO board.$…*hhand Unicore#…*crc, CR LF kept) is sent as one UDP datagram to the app's GPS port the moment it is complete. Nothing batched, nothing cut; binary bytes between lines (UBX, echoed RTCM) are dropped and counted.--to 192.168.5.255:9999for an app on another host,--no-rtcmfor one-way,--baud.The line framer is checked against split lines, binary between lines and an overlong line. Not run against a receiver here; the first user with a USB receiver is the test.
Docs/GPS_RECEIVERS.mdhas the recipe, so the Septentrio ask on the open issue now has a path for USB users: run this besideTools/nmea-capture.pyand send the capture.🤖 Generated with Claude Code
