A number of student-initiated workshops have been held on MIDCA. The following URL contains pointers to the web sites for these events and includes slides, recorded oral presentations and workshop proceedings. http://www.midca-arch.org/workshops See the References section of this manual for further reading. The way MIDCA is currently set up is that you need to run python setup.py install to update any changes you've made to the code. This is because when MIDCA is run, it's using the version stored in python's Lib/site-packages. This is different than where the source code is that you're likely editing. When you run the command python setup.py install one of the things it does is copy the source code from where you are editing it to the Lib/site-packages directory of your python installation. MIDCA is currently setup to be run in this way.
