What and why

The node's TSA now trusts its clock for a grace window after the last good time sync instead of refusing on the first failed poll. This documents the change on the TSA machine-config reference and the TSA how-to:

  • New fields max_sync_age_seconds (default 3600, at most 86400), max_drift_ppm (default 100, at most 500) and max_clock_error_ms (default accuracy_ms), with their config apply errors.
  • A "clock grace window" section: the four refusal limits, how the clock error is estimated, a worked example, the status strings a client sees, and the rule that max_clock_error_ms may not exceed accuracy_ms.
  • The timeNotAvailable troubleshooting entry links to the new section.

Merge after CryptOS-PKI/cryptos-node#357.

The TSA now keeps stamping for a grace window after the last good time
sync. Document the max_sync_age_seconds, max_drift_ppm and
max_clock_error_ms limits, their defaults, the refusal status strings
and the rule that max_clock_error_ms may not exceed accuracy_ms.
