Hey, love this extension - literally cannot handle the fact that it doesn't work in GNOME 49. Was wondering if there were plans to update it to do so? Thanks
I managed to get it working myself so gonna post this here for anyone else... it seems like the extension works fine in 49, just needs to be marked as working. So
open up the file metadata.json in the extension folder (for me this was Home/[USERNAME]/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/wintile@nowsci.com
look for the section labelled "shell-version". Add a , at the end of the last version and then add "49" and save. It should look like this:
Reboot and the extension should be working
Will leave this open so others see as, obviously, the author updating would still be preferable

I observed minor change, when you use shortcut [win key] [ →] or [ ← ] on maximized window, it glitched and do nothing (from maximized window state)

Yeah I've noticed a few little bugs and cases where windows have to be a bit manhandled to behave. Still better than not having the extension but hopefully, at some point, the author will take a look at it and do proper support for 49 :)
