default template wished

Hi,

We have a list here of publications related to MathModDB items.

Not all of the above items refer to a scholarly article, resulting in an uneven display of the listed items.

Could we have a default template for such items, where we display e.g. title and description and assign such items to the default template?

What do you think?

I believe we do have a so called "Hook" mechanism that checks what type an item has and then sends it to the respective renderer, so e.g. a item of type publication will be rendered with the publication template.

I would think that we could use that to fall-back to some kind of default template.

Since Moritz implemented this, he might have an idea how this could be done.

@timconrad in fact the {{profile-type}} can be replaced by an empty string. Internally, empty strings are replaced by the template {{global}} . However, that does not really help here. I don't fully understand the problem.
Following the link I see you have this query

This method could be extended to have a second row with the description.
@AurelaShehu I think you want to create a new module that computes the list you want. With the current setup, it becomes hard to test and see which code path is actually used. I would first print the plain list of qids and then extend it step by step. If you get stuck at some point I am happy to help. Also have a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Module:Wikidata for examples how to format the results.
