This mod has moved. Development now happens in O0mix0O/melvor-idle-mods, under
mods/ui-opacity/. This repository is kept for reference only.
Adds an adjustable opacity setting for Melvor Idle's dark-mode UI elements, letting players make blocks, headers, and panels more or less see-through.
The mod adds a "UI Opacity" setting to the Mod Settings menu. Changing it applies a
background colour (chosen from a precomputed table of hex values with increasing alpha) to
a fixed set of dark-mode UI selectors — blocks, block headers, list groups, the page
header, and the sidebar — via inline !important styles. A separate colour table is used
when the game's Super Dark Mode setting is active.
- UI Opacity — a number from 0 (fully transparent) to 10 (fully opaque), or
-1to disable the mod's effect entirely (default).
.block, .block-header, .block-header-default, .bg-light,
.simplebar-content-wrapper, .list-group-item, .bg-combat-inner-dark, #page-header,
#header-theme, and #sidebar. .modal elements and #header-user-options-dropdown are
excluded.
Install via the Melvor Idle Mod Manager (mod.io).
Tested and working on:
- Melvor Idle 1.3.1 — Steam — Windows 11
- Melvor Idle 1.3.1 — Android — Google Pixel 8 Pro
At the default setting (-1), applying the opacity setting throws an error partway
through and the page-header/sidebar colouring is not applied that run.
Fix the -1 default-setting error described above.
