I test AI and digital systems to see whether their claims hold up in real use.
My background spans software QA, human factors, accessibility, federal ICT, and operations. The domain changes, but the method stays the same:
understand the system → decide what should be true → test it → review the evidence → record the finding → fix what failed → test again
- AI assurance and evaluation — turning requirements and risk goals into tests, evidence, findings, and decisions
- Human oversight — checking whether people can actually understand, challenge, stop, or escalate AI-assisted actions
- Generative UI (GenUI) — researching how to assure accessibility and human outcomes when interfaces are generated or changed at runtime
- Accessibility and human factors — testing whether real people can use, understand, and act within the system, including with assistive technology
- Vendor and federal ICT assurance — separating claims from evidence and asking what a buyer or decision-maker would need before relying on them

A passing component, policy, or model test does not automatically mean the whole system works.
I am most interested in the places where good pieces fail when they are combined: components inside workflows, AI outputs inside human decisions, accessibility across browsers and assistive technologies, and controls that stop working after the system changes.
I write about those problems in plain language first, then connect them to the professional terms, standards, and evidence needed for assurance work.
