I've noticed while working with components that certain icons are offset by 1px and aren't centered or positioned and optically balanced.
I don’t think this happens with all of them, but it does occur with a significant number.
In the design icon process, the stroke was positioned aligned with the grid whenever possible, but certain objects or shapes such as diagonals were positioned at values of 0.25, 0.5, or 0.75. The icons were positioned individually.
It seems to affect the editable, expanded in regular and filled weights.
The hypothesis is that at some point, centered alignment was automatically applied and the decimals were removed.
I'm not quite sure what the solution might be. It might involve changing the icons where this is most obvious and manually repositioning them in a branch of the icon library.
