The Docker image now includes the libraries needed for amqp:// notifications, covering both AMQP 0.9.1 and AMQP 1.0, without adding any build tools to the final image.

  • The change is tested and works locally.
  • No commented-out code in this PR.
  • No lint errors (use tox -e lint and optionally tox -e format).

Testing

Anyone can help test as follows:

# Clone the branch
git clone -b amqp-support https://github.com/caronc/apprise-api.git
cd apprise-api

# Build the image and confirm both AMQP libraries are present
docker build -t apprise-api:amqp .
docker run --rm apprise-api:amqp python3 -c \
"import pika, proton; from proton import SSL; print(SSL.present())"

# Run the unit tests
tox -e test

# Run a local instance of the api at http://localhost:8000
tox -e runserver
