I will lead this issue as the release-pipeline owner and am taking the coordination responsibility.

The next step is to account for the reported failure families and distinguish release regressions from stale fixtures or environment-specific failures, then drive the appropriate bounded repairs. We should not assume that any particular open PR resolves this run without matching the failure evidence, and cancelled coverage must not be counted as passed.

Moving this issue to Now. The objective is trustworthy release-smoke coverage, not a new CI framework or weakened assertions. This ownership update does not approve an unspecified implementation or a release date.
