Pawel Paruzel

Software engineer with a strong focus on backend engineering, working primarily in Python and C++.

I enjoy building backend systems: services, APIs, orchestration, automation, infrastructure-facing code, and performance-sensitive tooling. Over time, that work has expanded into AI backend engineering and LLM inference, where backend development meets model serving, distributed systems, GPUs and accelerators, and production ML systems.

My experience also spans performance engineering, compiler/runtime work, and systems-level optimization. I like working across layers when a problem requires it, but backend engineering is the common thread.

Most of my production work lives in private repositories. This profile is mostly a collection of experiments, side projects, and things I have explored over the years.

Areas I work across: Backend engineering · AI backend systems · LLM inference · Distributed systems · Performance engineering · Compilers & runtimes
