"NFL 01: 8:20PM New England Patriots vs Seattle Seahawks" read as teams "20PM New England Patriots" and "Seattle Seahawks" in league "8", the clock split at its colon as a label; "US (ESPN+ 017) | MLB: Rays vs. Braves (ESP) (2026-09-10 11:30:10)" read as a film, the timestamp taken for a release year. A clock beside a label is stripped whichever comes first, a channel number after a league word is dropped, a channel name is never a league, and the trailing stamps, times and language tags a playlist appends come off before the name is judged. "Alien vs Predator (2004)" is still a film of 2004. A side spelt "Alcorn St" meets "Alcorn State Braves", and State, University, United and Manchester meet their short forms either way.
