Qwizzed is a Next.js and Supabase-powered quiz platform for educators, teams, and creators who need to spin up engaging assessments quickly. Installation & Setup

Prerequisites

  • Node.js 18+
  • npm or bun
  • Supabase project with URL and publishable (anon) key
  • Git

Steps

  1. Clone the repository

    git clone https://github.com/razeevascx/Qwizzed.git
  2. Navigate to the project

    cd Qwizzed
  3. Install dependencies

    npm install
    # or
    bun install
  4. Configure environment variables

    cp .env.example .env.local

    Update .env.local with your Supabase credentials:

    NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_URL=your-project-url
    NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPABASE_PUBLISHABLE_KEY=your-publishable-or-anon-key
  5. Start the development server

    npm run dev
  6. Verify the setup

    • Open http://localhost:3000
    • Create a test account and build a sample quiz
    • Submit an attempt to confirm data flow
