Bulk Model Exporter - Maya Plug-in =================================== INSTALL ------- 1. Copy BOTH "bulk_exporter.py" and "bulkExporter_32.png" into your Maya plug-ins folder: C:\Users\AAS\OneDrive\Documents\maya\2022\plug-ins\ (Create the "plug-ins" folder if it doesn't already exist. The icon must sit in the same folder as the .py file.) 2. In Maya: Windows > Settings/Preferences > Plug-in Manager Find "bulk_exporter.py" in the list and check "Loaded" (also check "Auto Load" if you want it available every time you open Maya). 3. That's it - no extra script needs to be pasted anywhere. Loading the plug-in automatically adds: - A "Pipeline Tools > Bulk Model Exporter..." menu in the main menu bar - A clickable shelf icon on your current shelf tab If you ever want to open the tool manually from the Script Editor instead of clicking the menu or shelf icon, use: import bulk_exporter bulk_exporter.BulkExporterUI.show() 4. Click the menu item or the shelf icon to open the tool, select your meshes in the viewport, click "Add Selected", choose an output folder and format (FBX and/or GLB), then click "Export All". GLB EXPORT ---------- Maya doesn't include a native GLB/glTF exporter. GLB export works by exporting FBX first, then converting it with the free FBX2glTF tool: https://github.com/facebookincubator/FBX2glTF/releases Point the tool at the downloaded executable once in the UI's "FBX2glTF path" field - it's remembered after that. -----------------------------------
