Happypanda Wiki
Welcome to the happypanda wiki!
Happypanda is a manga/doujin management progam that aims to make it easier for you to manage your manga/doujins by providing features such as gallery searching, putting namespace & tags on galleries, automatically fetch metadata from selected sites, and lots more!
Bug Reporting
When you encounter a bug, I encourage you to follow these steps to make it easier for me to troubleshoot.
These steps can also be read/accessed from Settings in Happypanda under About section.
Can you start a new instance of Happypanda and reproduce the bug?
If that's not the case then skip the steps below and go to How to report
First close all instances of Happypanda.
Open a command prompt *(terminal in nix) and navigate to where Happypanda is installed. Eg.: cd path/to/happypanda
Now type the name of the main executable with a -d following, eg.: happypanda.exe -d or main.py -d if you're running from source.
The program will now open and create a new file named happypanda_debug.log
Now you try to reproduce the error/bug
How to report
If you completed the steps above, make sure to include the happypanda_debug.log file which was created
and a description of how you reproduced the error/bug.
Navigate to where you installed Happypanda with a file explorer and find happypanda.log. Send it to me with a description of the bug.
You have 3 options of contacting me:
