• Allows callers to configure board size, Wumpus, pits, and gold positions.
• Validates board coordinates and prevents overlapping or invalid objects.
• Preserves the existing default layout.

• Adds a visual renderer test that verifies custom layouts are rendered.

Testing

Run from the repository root:

python -m unittest discover -s tests -v

All 28 tests pass, including the custom-layout renderer test.

Visual review

The renderer test captures the board output and verifies that the custom Wumpus, pit, and gold appear in the rendered board. The test checks the output structure without depending on terminal timing.
