IceNav is an open-source GPS navigator for ESP32-S3 based boards, featuring a touchscreen, maps (rendered PNG tiles or proprietary vector tiles), waypoint and calculated-route (A*) navigation, compass, sensors and GPX track logging.
This wiki is organized into two sections:
- User Guide — how to use the device: screens, navigation, settings, calibration. No technical background required.
- Technical / Structure Documentation — how the project is built: architecture, SD card formats, building, CLI and map generation. For developers and advanced users.
Note: the screenshots in this wiki come from the project itself. Some features depend on the board and installed sensors (compass, IMU, barometer) — see Supported Boards.
